The Dutch Research Center for Insurance Medicine (KCVG) conducts research that is geared toward knowledge gaps across the spectrum of insurance medicine practice.
This is achieved through long-term PhD programs, which are part of the KCVG research program. PhD research is conducted by junior researchers who are often practicing insurance physicians too. The KCVG research program is currently conducted by AUMC, UMCG, UWV and partners. In addition, outside KCVG’s own research program other projects are being run in collaboration with external partners. This is why we distinguish between two types of research projects:
